Ragtime

« The artwork Ragtime strives to provide a physical interpretation of colors. Blue symbolizes profound tranquility, while red embodies explosive force. Through the harmonious yet contrasting interplay of red and blue, the spirits of the vines sway and dance to the rhythm of Ragtime. This dance form was born from the fusion of rigid late nineteenth-century European dances and uninhibited African-American dances. They are gentle and cheerful spirits, free and transgressive, and they watch over the earth while letting the primal rhythm of the music permeate their very being. »

After attending the School of Visual Arts in New York, Beppe Giacobbe started to work as an illustrator in Milan. He is passionate about painting, but also about music, a combination that leads to the continuous search for giving a shape to a sound.
